Different Dental Implant Crown / Bridge Restorations
At DentalcarePlus Implant Centres we perform different dental implant crown restorations depending on a patients clinical condition.
Porcelain fused to Metal
Porcelain crowns fused to titanium alloy. The porcelain crowns are either cement retained or screw retained.
Porcelain fused to Precious Metal
The precious metal alloy used is a mixture of various types of metal, having gold as one of the main components.
This allows the dental lab to manipulate and fabricate a component with more accurate fit and more resistant to corrosion, with the aim of resisting better and longer to the environment of the oral cavity. Due to the warm colour of the precious metal alloy with gold as one of the main components, it will allow the lab technician to fabricate components with better finishing, with a better polishing surface with a warmer colour that will create a more aesthetic outcome. The crowns are either cement retained or screw retained.
White Zirconia Fused to Procera™
Procera™ crowns are fused to white Zirconia (Zirconium) abutments. This restoration is for the anterior (front) teeth and aims to provide a colour and translucency similar to a natural tooth. The crowns are either cement retained or screw retained.
